Intermittent Fasting Fuels My Focus
But it ain't for everyone kids.
Some people just can't put down those Burgers.
(mmm, I fancy a Burger actually)
Listen, the Science is indisputable.
And you know already that I have energy for days;
But I go about things differently.
Look:
1. This Is How I Do It
I skip breakfast, hydrate with water (Still drink Coffee) and eat one meal in the evening,
With Lunch just 2x a week. Why?
Fasting boosts function, enhances mental clarity, and makes me feel f-i-n-e.
It’s not the norm, but here's why my way works for me;
2. Burns Fat Like a Furnace:
Doctor Huberman might disagree with my methods.
But for me, it works man.
The Science:
Fasting triggers fat-burning mode by increasing Norepinephrine.
It’s like hiring a personal trainer that works while I sip Coffee. (Probably far too much of it)
3. Norepinephrine Release:
When you fast, your body senses the lack of incoming food (glucose), which is its usual energy source.
In response, the adrenal glands release norepinephrine into the bloodstream.
Norepinephrine binds to receptors, signalling them to break fat down.
4. Im Winning And Slimming
The free fatty acids released from fat cells are transported to the liver and other tissues, where they are converted into ketones or used directly for energy production.
This shift helps the body maintain energy levels even when glucose is scarce.
5. But It Isn't All For The Mirrors Benefit...
This Fasting lark is real !
You know what inspired me?
Supersize me. Have you seen it?
God-damn.
Honestly,
I have more energy than a Cat on a hot tin roof !
Dang, I do more in a day than people half my age.
6. Brain Booster:
Fasting boosts brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). Translation?
Your brain becomes sharper than your wit, and you won’t forget where you your car keys.
(Err, has anyone seen my car keys?)
Just messing. It works !
7. But It Ain't All Fun and Games
All that being said, the fist week made me get more headaches than when i speak to my ex-girlfriends.
But its a small price to pay if you power past this.
Just look at some of the other incredible benefits...
Its a longevity power up 📈
8. 🎶Who-Wants-To-Live-Forever🎶
Aight, enough of the Queen songs, BUT;
Studies show fasting can extend lifespan.
So, you’re not just skipping meals; you’re adding years.
Dinner can wait, immortality calls!
9. Mood Magic 🪄
Quite honestly, I love what I do so much i'm rarely unhappy, but even I have noticed a difference.
Fasting increases serotonin, your “happy hormone.” Who knew skipping breakfast could lead to more smiles 😁
(But I still want to off next doors dog some days)
10. Hunger Control
I know what everybody is thinking...
'Im gonna be so hungry I will feel like eating the Fridge'
Fasting helps regulate ghrelin, the “hunger hormone.” Say goodbye to snack attacks, after day three, hunger gets the heave ho.
Hoe/Ho? - Im really not sure. BUT;
11. I DO Know This
If your willing to put up with a headache or two you will be DM'ing me to thank me after.
(Just make sure your following first though)
And if you DO decide to try Fasting, you can go all in, or select to do it like Mike.
I eat what I like for Dinner though🍔
12. I Read A Whole Science Paper On This:
(So you don't have to)
INTERMITTENT FASTING BENEFITS:
-Fat-Burning Mode: Increases norepinephrine, which triggers fat breakdown and enhances metabolism.
-Brain Health: Boosts brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), improving cognitive function and mental clarity.
-Cellular Repair: Activates autophagy, a process that removes damaged cells and promotes cellular regeneration.
-Longevity: May extend lifespan by improving metabolic health and reducing oxidative stress.
-Reduced Inflammation: Lowers inflammation, reducing bloating and promoting overall health.
-Improved Insulin Sensitivity: Enhances insulin sensitivity, helping to regulate blood sugar levels and prevent type 2 diabetes.
-Mood Enhancement: Increases serotonin levels, leading to improved mood and reduced symptoms of depression.
-Hunger Regulation: Helps regulate ghrelin, the “hunger hormone,” leading to better control over appetite.
-Cardiovascular Health: Lowers LDL cholesterol and blood pressure, supporting heart health.
-Youthful Appearance: Increases human growth hormone (HGH), which aids in maintaining muscle mass, skin elasticity, and overall vitality.
(Ok so the jury is out on that one for me)

Go on, I double dare you.
