Lessons Learned On X

Hey, everyone! šŸŒŸThanks for the support on my new journey. šŸ™Œ Its been 50 days now for me on X and 500 Followers have joined the Tribe.

Here to share, learn, and hopefully make you smile.

If you catch me chatting with myself, no worries.

Im just having a meeting with the Bots !šŸ˜†

Engage to Shine šŸŒŸ

Engaging with others posts has been a pleasure!

Its helped me learn so much and meet such wonderful people - well all of you in fact. šŸ™

So Comment, like, and retweet to become part of the community.

Interaction builds connections

Consistency is Key šŸ—ļø

I Post consistently daily. I have made 6023 so far.

Regular content keeps your audience engaged and coming back for more.

Well that is the idea anyway šŸ˜‰

Visual Appeal šŸŽØ

Use eye-catching visuals. Images, videos, and Emojis

(But my design skill I admit needs some work!)

But bright colors and visual language also helps to grab attention and increase engagement I have found.

Be Authentic šŸ’Æ

Authenticity seems to attract followers.

Even my quirky and contrarian self !

So be you, share your story, and dont give a dang, if it doesnt connect on a personal level. Better to be what we are !

Use Analytics šŸ“Š

I tracked and posted my performance and adjusted my strategy based on analytics insights too.

It also kept me accountable, and propelled me ti continue to work so hard.

Create a Content Calendar šŸ“…

I planned my posts with a content calendar to stay organized and consistent.

I dang well needed to as well.

Wow. Was not always simple or easy if honest.

Leverage Trends šŸ”„

I joined trending topics and used hashtags to increase visibility and engagement.

Being totally honest though, I didnt actually follow my own plan on this one as much as I had initially planned to, but will do again in the future.

Offer Exclusive Content šŸ›ļø

Providing exclusive content and offers to my followers was time consuming bur worthwhile.

I wrote a 9447 page ebook when I reached 300 followers.

My hand was absolutely killing me - real talk !

Keep them engaged and loyal!

Network Like a Pro šŸ¤

I built relationships with other creators and brands to expand my reach.

Small or large I didnt care about their account size, just whether or not I was enjoying their content.

It worked.

Be Responsive šŸ“²

I replied to every single comments and message as promptly as I could and as thoughtfully as possible to build a loyal and engaged community.

Its was one of the most fun parts actually.

Apart from the DM'S, i had to stop replying after a time!

Be Relatable šŸ¤—

I shared personal anecdotes and relatable content to connect on a deeper level.

I wasnt sure if people would like it, but I think it ended up helping to stand out.

For better or for worse lol ! I can only be me.

Show Behind the Scenes šŸŽ„

I gave peeks into my life behind the scenes

(or screens!) to create a more personal connection with my valued audience.

Stay Current šŸ“…

I kept up with X news and trends to stay relevant and engaged as well as boring you all with wrestling and other stuff too.

(but always related it back to coaching and content creation)

Consistent Branding šŸŽØ

You would have seen my Master Elements branding,

Thats the Coaching model I created for my IRL business which I use.

It maintained a consistent branding strategy, across all my main posts to build recognition and trust. #BrandConsistency

Share Industry Insights šŸ§

Post valuable insights and updates from your industry to position yourself as an expert.

Dang, I even invented my very own coaching model (some years ago)

But you dont have to take it that far.

(but you might want to???)

Use GIFs šŸŽ¬

Incorporate GIFs to add humor and movement to your posts.

But dont overdo it either.

(Bonus hint - They HAVE to be Star Wars)

Or Wrestling, or Motorcycles, if you desire to capture Mr Masters attention.

Nah, anything kind and positive will do!

Be Accessible

Ensure your content is accessible and accurate, dang I know that my language gets deep.

But no lie this is me being more measured.

(In my business and coaching writing I can get very technical indeed)

Adapting to the audience is key.

Build a Community šŸ¤—

Foster a sense of community by engaging with your followers and encouraging them to interact with each other.

I pride myself on replying thoughtfully to every single reply.

Its the way to create a community vibe.

(Hey I love you all)

Plan for Virality šŸ”„

Create content with the potential to go viral by tapping into current trends and emotions.

Dang it hasnt really happened for me yet, but it is only a matter of time.

(and a Retweet is honestly appreciated, if you have gained value of course)

Dang - I havent got a 49 or a 50.

But I will say and finish with this...

Its been 55 days now for me of learning.

And the adventure has only just begun.

So next step - stay a lifelong learner.

And look forward to what is coming your way soon.

Yours,

Michael Masters - The Info Architect
