Hashtaggers say jump on Trends.
There not entirely wrong;
But here’s the catch:
When everyone's feeding the Algo,
Nobody stands out.
It’s not about ticking boxes,
it’s about thinking outside them
Lets talk about it;
1. The Experiment:
I spent 90 days straight - (Whilst i could)
Spending 16hrs on 𝕏 per day !
(loved every min of it)
I made 20k Posts,
And over 300 long forms...
2. But Even More Key 🔑
The best thing about that...
Was having the time to read,
And be involved in so many convo's.
Its what grew my account to 800 - in 80 days.
3. When 'Real Life' Strikes Back
But then on Sep 1st -
I had to take back control of my IRL Biz.
That's cool though...
(I always knew i would have to)
4. There Is A Lesson In Everything:
I still post top quality content. (Facts)
And reply to every person.
But the difference in views - wow.
(and not in a good way)
5. Its Not Just Content That's King
Likes, and Followers - vanity metrics.
Up to a point...
But we all need an audience.
This is what I learned...
6. Rewarded For The Right Reasons
I am lucky I built a solid base.
Of amazing, friendly Followers.
Now im forced by circumstances,
To be less involved in the wider convo...
7. And 'Penalized' Unwittingly
You will notice the difference yourself.
I made this account to educate,
And to entertain.
But what if it was to make money?
8. Well Put It This Way
I wouldn't be seen by anyone...
If I hadn't of had my 90 day run.
And built up connections - and friends.
So if you listen to nothing else...
9. Hear Me Clearly
Listen to Mr Masters on this one.
Quality content - King.
Quality connections - vital.
Expanding your reach? Imperative.
10. The Good News
You don't need to spend hours.
To connect with new people daily.
And the best thing I can do...
Is to share my experiences with you.
11. Together The Tribe Is Stronger
So you know me.
Everyone gets replied to meaningfully.
Followers get helped in DM's.
And content - knocked out the Park !
12. I've Only Scratched The Surface
I got so much more to tell you...
And not just about Coaching, Copywriting etc.
But about my tale of two halves.
Thank goodness for it.
13. The 'Experiment' Continues
This Threads already getting l-o-n-g
So let me pause at this juncture.
And remind you all...
Content/Engagement/Community.
14. The Name Of The Game
So learn your Aida,
And your Hooks, etc...
Focus on storytelling -
And all that good stuff...
15. The Bottom Line Is
Most of all...
Gotta love what you do.
Be here to serve.
And forget the vanity metrics.
